Riverstar Audio ("the Company") utilizes SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption protocols to securely protect all data transmissions within the website.

No Financial Data Storage

Performance of a contract (to fulfill digital product orders, issue .keyfile license files based on purchase verification, and authorize download access) and legitimate interests (to provide technical support and customer service).
Software & Technical Information
To ensure stable performance, prevent software piracy, track bugs, and provide technical support during plugin execution and authorization, minimum technical data such as hardware identification (Device ID), operating system (OS) type, and host Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) information in use may be retrieved and verified on a local basis.
3. Data Retention and Deletion (Retention Period)
Retention Policy
In principle, the Company retains order and license data until a user requests account deletion, in order to verify the validity of issued licenses and maintain ongoing eligibility for product upgrades.
Statutory Retention
As the Company operates under the laws of the Republic of Korea, certain transaction records must be retained for a specified period as mandated by the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce:
• Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years
• Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years
• Records on customer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
Destruction Method
Once the retention period expires or a deletion request is processed, personal data stored in electronic file format is permanently deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery or reconstruction.
Account Deletion
To protect licensed assets and prevent unauthorized duplicate usage, account deletion cannot be performed directly by the user on the website. Upon receiving a deletion request via the support email—required for identity verification—it will be processed without delay.
4. Use of Cookies
This website uses only Functional Cookies essential for providing standard webshop features, such as maintaining login status and shopping cart functionality.
